Sandwiches with avocado, chicken and feta
A combination of great flavours and rich nutrients in one sandwich.
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of favourite bread (e.g. Italian)
- garlic clove
- small avocado
- a handful of rocket
- a handful of rapunzel
- feta
- single chicken fillet
- tbs soy sauce
- pinch of sweet pepper
- pinch of hot pepper
- half tsp (best if homemade) kebab-gyros spices mix
- pepper
- olive oil
Preparation:
It is best if you start with the chicken preparation. Clean the fillet and remove all the unpleasant parts. Combine soy sauce, sweet and hot pepper, kebab-gyros spices mix, pepper and 2 tbs of olive oil in a small bowl. Add fillet and cover it with marinade. Put for at least 10 minutes into the fridge so that all of the ingredients combine. Fry chicken fillet for 10 minutes on both sides. Set aside and let it cool down so that the meat can settle down. Slice the meat into slices that are not too thick.
Prepare toasts and spread with a crushed garlic clove. Put on the rocket, rapunzel, chicken and sliced avocado. Put on the pieces of feta and lightly drizzle with olive oil.
