Green detoxing smoothie recipe
A smoothie is great for delivering necessary veg and fruit nutrients, keeping you going for a long time. A Sencor food processor will help you prepare a healthy detoxing green smoothie, packed with nutrients that strengthens your body and gives you an energy boost.
Ingredients:
- 1 small banana
- a handful of spinach
- 150 ml almond or your favourite milk
- a handful of parsley
- 2 tbs of chia seeds
Preparation:
Process banana, spinach, parsley, milk and seeds until smooth. You can add 2-3 ice cubes to make the smoothie cooler. We do not use sugar here - a banana provides natural sweetness. If you, however, need to make it sweeter, it is best to use healthier birch sugar or stevia. Spinach helps regenerate the liver, parsley is a vitamin C bomb, and chia seeds are rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fats.
